Policies:
The Gene Autry Roping Club is a family-oriented club with a wide range of horsemanship skills. We have many children, new and or novice horse owners as well as seasoned and professional horsemen at our club events. We want to maintain a safe and friendly environment for everyone. Please help us observe these rules.

No stallions will be allowed at GARC sponsored events which include play days, trail rides, parades and any other informal group activity. (This does not include our rodeo.)

1. To be in compliance with state statue, all horses must have a current EIA (Coggins) test and owners should be prepared to show current test.

2. No alcoholic beverages or illegal substances shall be consumed at any club activity. No person shall participate in any club activity while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

3. No profanity or derogatory language will be allowed.

4. Because of the danger inherent in horse related activities, young children should be watched closely and not allowed to run free.

5. Do not ride, lead or tie horses in or around the vicinity of the bleachers.

6. All pets will be kept on leash.

7. Persons in charge of an event will be responsible for trash collection and disposal.

8. Only Officers of this Club will have keys to the club building, light boxes and concession stand.

9. Club equipment will not be loaned out.

10. Playday equipment will only be used at official Playdays. Practice barrels will be left out for use at other times.

11. Only club members will use club tractor.

12. Arena gates will be kept closed at all times.

13. No Hunting on club property.

14. No smoking in club meeting room.
